ARCHES NATIONAL PARK, UTAH

At $10 per vehicle to get in, there are limited campsites within the park but a variety of campgrounds nearby.  Arches National Park, where giant red stones cover the vast landscape of the park and you get incredible views of the night sky. You can backpack around, as long as you know what you’re doing, but beware, it’s easy to get lost here.

OLYMPIC NATIONAL PARK, WASHINGTON

There are tons of campgrounds to choose from here, but camping alone isn’t recommended.  The perfect park for any outdoor enthusiast, Olympic has three completely different ecosystems, you can climb, hike or explore the rainforest. If you’re there in the right season, you can even watch the whales migrate. For $7 – $20 you can camp in any of the provided grounds, or spend $5 for back country camping to put up your suspended tree tent.

GLACIER NATIONAL PARK, MONTANA

Over 700 miles of hiking trails and plenty of wildlife but this park also has something a little different. Glacier National Park is home to the Going-to-the-Sun Road which is 50 miles of highway winding through the beautiful mountainsides. There are more than a thousand standard camping spots from $15-$25, as well as back country places perfect for an explorer.

THE ADIRONDACK PARK, NEW YORK

There are 6 million acres of the Adirondacks to explore. There perfect place for some serene alone time, walk among the trees, visit with locals in one of the small mountain towns. You can enjoy boating, sailing, canoeing and hiking this vast forest.

ACADIA NATIONAL PARK, MAINE

Perfect for campers of all ages and any skill level, there’s something for everyone to love in Acadia. Swimming, boating, fishing, and catching Maine lobster are just a few of the popular activities in Acadia. Cadillac Mountain is a great spot for climbers or go deep into the woods in any direction for some great exploration.
